The kitchen is under the direction of Philippe Corbet, a French-trained chef with several years of experience in Michelin-star rated restaurants as well as top tables throughout Long Island. Corbet most recently began working with Montauk Asset Holdings last season heading up the kitchen at Arbor in Montauk. The wood-burning cuisine is the brainchild of Corbet, fulfilling a lifelong culinary dream to execute an entire menu from the flavor producing unique cooking style. Offering lunch, dinner and a late night menu, Lulu Kitchen & Bar offers a menu focused on local products.
Steven Jauffrineau
Managing Director
Steven Jauffrineau brings his restaurant experience from the highly acclaimed Manhattan French bistro La Goulue and Shelter Island hot spot Sunset Beach. Jauffrineau was drawn to the East End after his stint at Sunset Beach and made the move permanently to Shelter Island where he resides with his family. He began working with Montauk Asset Holdings in 2015 when he was brought on to manage the ownership change at the famed Montauk seafood spot Duryea’s and launch the second restaurant in the group Arbor.
